The Nuclear Interchange Hub - how it works
Our Nuclear Interchange Hub has been created specifically to build these cross-sector connections. It's focused on making placements happen that benefit everyone involved.
The Hub works by:
- Creating opportunities for people to move between organisations
- Promoting mobility through structured placements
- Building meaningful connections between civil and defence nuclear
- Helping people develop more varied and fulfilling nuclear careers
Part of the bigger picture
The Interchange initiative is one of fifteen key projects in our National Nuclear Strategic Plan for Skills. Together, these projects aim to address our sector's most pressing challenge: filling 40,000 new roles by 2030.
By enabling people to experience different parts of the sector, we're not just developing individuals - we're strengthening the entire nuclear community and making it a more attractive place to build a career.
